COMPETITIVE ROWING
Competitive Rowing is a unique Olympic sport with growing popularity in Israel. In competitive rowing the rower sits with his back facing the direction of forward movement, on a seat that moves on a rail.
Rowing boats are extremely lightweight in nature. They are built with state of the art technology and give the sport its aesthetic uniqueness. It is the fastest water borne vessel that is propelled by muscle power. There is a wide variety of boats designed for different crew sizes. The boats vary from the 'skiff'- designed for one, to a boat designed for an eight-man crew.
Competitive rowing has many advantages:
