PARALYMPIC ROWING
Rowing was first recognized as a Paralympic sport in April 2005 during the Paralympic games.
A rowing committee responsible for locating potential rowers was founded by The Israel Sports Association for the Disabled including Beit Halochem, The Rowing Federation and The Daniel Centre.
For many people rowing offers new possibilities to take part in a relatively new Paralympic sport.
Rowing is suitable for:
1. Leg amputees
2. Visually impaired
3. Paraplegics
